Andra Cimpello

I was born and raised in Burlington, Ontario and moved to Woodstock with my husband after I completed graduate school. I am a linguist to my core, holding an undergraduate degree in Modern Languages & Linguistics with a minor in German and Italian from McMaster University and a MSc. from Edinburgh University, Scotland in Speech & Language Processing.  I spent 12 years working as a Linguistic Specialist and Software Developer in a natural language company and, after a sabbatical at home to raise my little ones, have now started my own proofreading business which allows the flexibiity to be home for my three girls. I offer proofreading and light editing services covering a broad range of writing from websites, blogs, advertising, university applications, articles, books and more.  Anything that needs a second set of eyes, I’m happy to help with!
